The name velocissima means "very fast" in Italian, and indeed there's a lot of speed in this jersey, even though it wasn't designed as a race jersey. It brings together three different fabrics for fit as well as comfort. The main jersey fabric is a soft 100% polyester micromesh with Castelli's prosecco wicking treatment to keep you dry. Side panels are in a stretch mesh for ventilation and improved fit. The sleeves are lifted directly from Castelli's pro race jersey, but in this case because the four-way-stretch fabric with raw-cut sleeve endings is as comfortable as it is aerodynamic. The velocissima jersey is not lacking in technical details, but it was also designed to look good. The fabrics are piece-dyed for rich color, and then they get a sublimated overprint for the tone-on-tone graphic over the shoulders. The Stahlstern jersey is an ASSOS cycling badge of honor. Part of our single-run, limited-edition Cycling Art series. The Stahlstern is built on the evolved MILLE GT C2 EVO platform. We opened the front of the collar and updated the fit across the chest and throat, relieving pressure for easier breathing and less restriction. The sleeves and collar feature a new material that's almost 30% lighter than the previous jersey's sleeve material while retaining the highly elastic, wrapping fit and active moisture management. The fast get faster with the evolution of Assos' Equipe SS Jersey. Precise patterning and sharp finishing details deliver the next generation of speed and race-ready comfort. To begin, they applied their proven circular knit miniCheck Tex, which is a highly elastic 3D knit fabric that’s been specifically developed with breathability and moisture transfer in mind. At the rear, they incorporated their Stabilizer textile, which secures the jersey with its limited vertical-stretch composition. The aggressive position speed-focused riders take also informed the material choice for the new raw + bonded sleeves, yoke, and pockets, which needed to be as buttery smooth and flexible as possible. Assos' fine-gauge warp knit Push Pull textile was just the ticket, providing high UV protection (UPF 50+) along with its quick-drying, bi-stretch properties. July days just got a little cooler with our PRO Air jersey. This is the lightest, coolest jersey we've ever produced. Using bonded seams, we've eliminated the bulk from stitched seams that can chafe and hold moisture. In fact, the only sewing in the entire jersey is to separate and reinforce the three pockets. The front of this jersey is cut from a stretch weave while the back uses a sublimated knit mesh to provide ultimate breathability.
