Ibis IBIS RIPMO AF-NGX-TOPAZ AIR
$4,199.00 $5,417.00 22% Off
IT’S METAL Over our long tenure from mountain biking’s awkward adolescence to its current anything-shreddy era, we’ve experimented with steel, aluminum and titanium?—?remember the Bow-Ti, the first super¬bike? We remember the metal times too, and it feels good to offer a premium ride experience to our broadening family of riders, courtesy of durable, affordable aluminum alloy. MODERN GEOMETRY With a steep, 76-degree seat tube angle and a rangy but not stratospheric reach, the Ripmo AF places riders centrally and upright over the bottom bracket. It makes for an efficient position that can go the long haul without placing too much weight on its slack, 64.9-degree head tube angle. A 44mm reduced-offset fork is more surefooted on steep descents and steadies high speeds. Better up, better down. DW LINK Since 2005, we’ve partnered with suspension guru Dave Weagle on the dw-link suspension plat¬form. It provides an unparalleled combination of climbing efficiency and downhill performance, which has been proven repeatedly at the highest levels of racing. COIL COMPATIBLE The Rip¬mo AF is compatible with both coil and air shocks due to a more progressive leverage rate. It allows for coil’s linearity to thrive and we spec air shocks with tunes that provide pop without feeling too harsh. On the trail, it gives the suspension a supple feel throughout the entirety of the stroke, enhancing traction no matter how deep you dig. DVO Now that we made the frames lever¬age rate progressive enough for a coil we had to find a coil shock that could handle the increased stress of being driven off of a clevis. The DVO JadeX is up to the challenge so the Rip-mo AF comes with custom tuned DVO suspension. 2.6” TIRE CLEARANCE Ibis helped pioneer the wide rim revolution, which inspired the new crop of wider 2.4”?—?2.6” tires. When paired together, this combo can be run at ultra low pressures which results in elbow-dragging cornering traction without sacrificing straight line speed.

Ibis IBIS S35 29
$1,875.00
IBIS S35 29" i9 wheel upgrade - w/ Ibis S35 29" carbon rims & Industry 9 hubs 7 year warranty https://www.ibiscycles.com/support/warranty/warranty-policy ASYMMETRIC RIM An asymmetric rim means that instead of the spoke holes being drilled through the center of the rim, they’re slightly offset. Doing this allows us to improve the bracing angle of the spokes. Because our rims are so wide we get to make them even more offset than normal. Our larger offset allows us to tension both sides of the wheels nearly equally, which results in a stronger and more durable wheelset. TOUGHENED HYBRID CARBON We don’t call the material in our carbon wheels ?“toughened” because they went to boot camp. The name comes from the combination of resin materials we use in our carbon layup to get the right feel and strength. Part of that formula is the toughened resin we use in the beadwall, which allows them to flex and shrug off impacts. Supporting those beadwalls is carbon with a stiffer resin to make sure they hold their shape. BLACKBIRD SEND The Blackbird Send Aluminum rims are designed to eliminate pinch flats and keep the tire sealed no matter what you hit. We offer two versions. The Send 1 and 2 rim share a unique hollow box-section beadwall that creates a broad contact point with the tire, which is much stronger and doesn’t slice tire sidewalls. The Burlier version, the Send II, adds a pair of ribs directly beneath the bead seat to keep them round after even the hardest hits. Our I9 wheels are built with Industry Nine’s Hydra Hubs. These American made hubs are a rider favourite due to their light weight, durability, and instant response. We lace these hubs with bladed Sapim CX-Ray spokes, which are among the lightest and toughest on the market.

Ibis Oso
$14,739.00
DOWNHILL BOTH WAYS A whole new sport demands a whole new bike. Built from the ground up to deliver a new level of smooth, fast and durable performance, the full-carbon Oso features our first-ever upper-link suspension dw-link platform. It stacks 155mm of rear travel with 170mm up front and is powered by a Bosch Performance Line CX Motor. Surrounding that motor, we designed a frame that would allow riders of all sizes to feel equally comfortable. Sizes large and extra-large feature 444mm chainstays and matching 29-inch wheels, while the small and medium get a mixed-wheel setup and shorter, 439mm stays. The effective seat angle is also size-specific, ranging from 77 degrees on the small up to 79 degrees on the extra large, which offers a consistent ride experience across all sizes. We also adjusted the reach and stack height to match our existing models, so the Oso fits and rides like an Ibis. And all frames have a 64-degree head angle. Because enduro. Our patented dw-link suspension offers an unfair combination of traction and efficiency. And this dw-link was tailor-made to satisfy the complicated demands made by full power eMTBs. We tuned it to be more progressive than anything we have ever made. Thanks to the upper link's buttery initial leverage rate and riot-ready late-stroke progressivity, the Oso is the perfect platform for a coil shock. Rear travel can be bumped up to 170mm by swapping the 205 x 60mm rear shock to a 205 x 65mm. You can also lift the fork travel up to 180 or 190mm. We'll even let you run a dual crown. In both configurations, the Oso is stable yet responsive, mimicking the experience of the do-absolutely-anything Ripmo. Except, now with a motor. BOSCH PERFORMANCE CX MOTOR The quiet, powerful 85 NM Bosch Performance motor offers the most natural-feeling acceleration since the invention of gravity. It is also the most dependable motor on the market, with a 25,000-mile design life. The motor is paired with a UL certified 750Wh battery (625Wh on small), so you can keep riding, and riding, and riding. On top of that, you get Bosch's 2-year warranty, a global network of dealers, and excellent customer service. Along with the industry leading durability of the Bosch motor, our suspension linkages are in a class of their own—even in the most challenging conditions. That's why we offer a lifetime bushing replacement warranty. The oversized bearings, tube-in-tube cable routing, built-in-fenders, and easy-to-remove battery make this bike easy to service. The frame features countless other perks, like a seven-year warranty, 2.5-inch tire clearance, a UDH hanger, trusted 148mm rear spacing, deep seatpost insertion, and room for a 26oz in-triangle bottle on the medium, large and extra-large and a 21oz on the small. Other subtle touches catering to the Oso's unapologetic e-bike-ness are its 200mm rear caliper mount, robust frame and motor protection, and cleanly integrated lights from boutique German bulbsmiths, Lupine. The rest of the components bolted to the Oso were chosen specifically to keep this beast firmly in the reins. A Fox 38 and X2 shock, XT 4-piston brakes, 220mm rotors, and Double-Down-casing Maxxis tires, seated on our Blackbird Send alloy rims. We are keeping it simple and sticking just to that one build kit. Because, like the Oso itself, it is made of the stuff that we wanted to ride. A thousand decisions, each with the goal of building the most fun and capable adventure machine possible.
