Get ready for your next bikepacking adventure! As a key item in your bikepacking setup, the ORTLIEB Seat-Pack comes with Velcro straps to enable convenient and secure mounting to your seat stem. Projecting backwards from the seat stem, your Seat-Pack also serves as a rear fender. The spacious, waterproof Seat-Pack keeps its contents (e.g. an extra set of clothes) safe and dry. Depending on how long you plan to be away and your Seat-Pack model, you can conveniently adjust the volume of your pack from 8 to 16.5 liters by adjusting the roll closures on the sides. An additional valve allows you to quickly and easily compress your soft gear for a more compact fit. The Expedition Saddle Pack is lightweight, waterproof, and provides a spacious compartment under the saddle, eliminating the need for a rear rack. It’s designed to hold clothes and equipment on long distance rides. Built from a lightweight laminate developed specifically for Apidura, the Pack is highly resistant to abrasions and tears. The seams have been welded together, creating a waterproof seal that ensures contents always stay dry, even in sustained rain. A three-point attachment system with Hypalon-reinforced Velcro straps allows the Pack to hug the seat post, increasing stability and cutting down on lateral movement. Additional Hypalon on the Pack’s body keeps frames in good condition. The roll-down compression and closure system means the Pack’s volume can be tailored precisely to fit a range of packing needs. Materials The Expedition Saddle Pack is cut from a three-layer laminate fabric that was developed specifically for us. The material is lightweight, and is highly resistant to tears and abrasion. Notably, it’s welded together at the seams, creating a watertight seal that ensures complete waterproofing. The Pack’s attachment points are reinforced with Hypalon, a rubberized nylon used to provide extra protection against friction and abrasion. For the straps, Woojin buckles have been chosen for their strength and reliability. Finally, a lightweight moulded section of HDPE thermoplastic sits in the Pack’s lower section to reinforce its structure.

We developed our Outpost Elite Universal Seat Pack (USP) to work with dropper or standard seatposts, be able to carry a bevy of cargo, and be stable enough to not swing around while it does. The USP is a two-part system: Part 1 is a T6061 Alloy Wing that affixes to your saddle and works with a standard or dropper post. Part 2 is a removable and waterproof dry bag. The bag has a scuba-style air bleed valve to assist with compression while off the bike. The wing stays on the bike, the bag comes off and allows you to pack, compress and go ride in the snap of a few buckles. Dropper Compatible Designed to not only stabilize your seatpack, but also work with or without dropper posts. The t6061 aluminum wing bolts to your seat rails for a rock solid mount. Bleed Valve The waterproof dry bag features a scuba style air bleed valve so that you can pack your bag as tight as you need, and not have to worry about leaks. Welded Seam Construction Welded seams not only reduce bulk, weight and materials, they improve performance by eliminating the needle hole, a potential area for saturation and leakage. Welded seams also create a clean finish on both the interior and exterior of the bag.
